There are many different options for support available for the grieving person. Connecting with others who are walking a similar path, and those who truly understand how each person’s path is unique, is especially healing. Expressing your grief makes it more bearable to get through it – eventually grief can strengthen your life.
Grief support can be obtained in a variety of ways, from one-on-one counselling to participation in a support group to self-help by reading.
The Support Network provides support and referrals for any one at any time who find themselves facing depression, loneliness, work-stress, addiction, relationship problems, or worrying about someone else.

Edmonton Healing Centre for Grief and Loss is the leading support service in Edmonton for people suffering from grief. They offer small group sessions, presentations, workshops, courses and supportive counselling for bereaved individuals and those who serve and support them.
